Supporting Our Community, One Pint at a Time
At East Brother Beer Co., we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Whether it’s a local fundraiser, community event, or charitable cause, we do our best to contribute where we can.
If you’re interested in requesting a beer donation for your upcoming event, please review the guidelines below before submitting a request.
Donation Guidelines
Advance Notice Required
Please submit your request at least 30 days in advance to allow us time to review and coordinate your donation.
Non-Profit Status
We can only donate to registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. A valid IRS determination letter will be required.
ABC Permit
If your event includes beer service, a valid one-day Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) permit is required. We cannot release beer without this permit. To find out if you need to obtain a temporary permit, please contact the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
Please note that California ABC laws restrict breweries from donating merchandise, gift cards, tours, tastings, and other “items of value.” Legally, we can only donate beer to a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for an event with a California ABC license.
