We’re Bringing East Brother Beer Co. to San Francisco

Well, the cat’s out of the bag… and we couldn’t be more excited!

East Brother Beer Co. is officially expanding beyond Richmond, and our very first taproom outside of our hometown is coming to San Francisco’s Metreon.

We weren’t quite ready to spill the beans, but thanks to some eagle-eyed folks at SFGATE, the news is out. So, let’s make it official: we’re bringing our award-winning, classic-style beers to the heart of downtown SF!

Since 2016, we’ve been proudly brewing in Richmond, crafting timeless beers that are simple, balanced, and seriously good. From our Bo Pils, recently recognized at the 2024 European Beer Star Awards, to our Red Lager and Blonde Ale, we’ve always been about making high-quality, no-nonsense beer. And now, we’re bringing that same passion and craftsmanship to the city.

The new Metreon taproom will be a place for beer lovers, locals, and visitors alike to enjoy fresh pours of our best brews—right in the middle of the action. While Richmond will always be our home, we can’t wait to fly the Richmond flag proudly in San Francisco.
